Terms and Conditions – Ace of Space Home and Office Removal Services

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of moving, removal, and relocation services by Ace of Space (“the Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) to customers (“you” or “the Client”). By booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services Provided
• Ace of Space provides loading, transporting, and unloading of household and office items.
• Packing and unpacking services are available at an additional fee. Charges will be communicated and agreed upon before the service.
• Any additional services (e.g., storage, furniture assembly, specialty item handling) must be explicitly requested and may incur extra charges.
• All services are provided subject to availability and operational constraints.

3. Booking and Confirmation
• All bookings must be made via official Ace of Space channels (website, phone, or email).
• A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of a written confirmation from Ace of Space.
• Ace of Space reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking if information provided is false or misleading.

4. Client Responsibilities
• You must provide accurate information about the volume, type, and nature of items to be moved.
• Fragile, hazardous, or valuable items (e.g., cash, jewelry, important documents) must be declared and may require separate arrangements.
• Ensure that the premises are safe and accessible for loading and unloading.
• Obtain all necessary permissions from landlords, building management, or local authorities if required.

5. Payment Terms
• A deposit may be required at the time of booking, with the balance due upon completion of the move.
• Payments can be made via approved methods (bank transfer, credit/debit card, online payment, or cash).
• Charges for additional services, including packing, will be invoiced separately and must be paid as agreed.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling
• Cancellations made more than 14 days before the scheduled move may receive a partial refund of the deposit.
• Cancellations within 3 days or on the moving day may forfeit the deposit.
• Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

7. Liability and Insurance
• Ace of Space is responsible for damage caused by negligence during handling and transportation.
• The Company is not liable for damage to items caused by packing errors by the Client, natural wear, inherent fragility, or pre-existing conditions.
• Insurance coverage for goods is recommended. Any insurance claims must follow the insurer’s procedures and timelines.

8. Limitation of Liability
• Liability of Ace of Space is limited to the declared value of items for removal.
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses.
• In case of disputes, liability will not exceed the total fees paid for the specific removal service.

9. Force Majeure
• Ace of Space is not responsible for delays, failures, or additional costs caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, traffic restrictions, strikes, or government regulations.

10. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
• Any complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days of service completion.
• Ace of Space will attempt to resolve disputes amicably; unresolved issues may be referred to local consumer protection authorities or arbitration as per applicable law.

11. Data Protection and Privacy
• Personal data provided by the Client will be used solely for service provision and will not be shared with third parties except as necessary for the move or as required by law.
• Ace of Space adheres to applicable data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR if operating in the EU).

12. Governing Law
• These Terms are governed by the laws of Hampshire.
• Any legal proceedings arising from these Terms must be conducted in the competent courts of Southampton magistrates court.

13. Acceptance

By confirming a booking, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions in full.
